Gabriela Bairele is a Brazilian architect practicing in Boston, MA. She holds an M.Arch from North Dakota State University, and is a licensed professional in both ND and MA. Gabriela’s curiosity lies in the intersections between the practice of architecture and the many cultural environments within which it happens. Gabriela currently serves as AIA Massachusetts Architect Licensing Advisor and is co-chair of the Boston Society of Architects (BSA) Emerging Professionals Network. Her past involvement in the BSA includes bringing speaker Michael Ford (Hip-Hop Architect) to Boston through BosNOMA and being on the steering committee for the 2018 Now Practice Now, which culminated in a summit addressing the state of practice. Gabriela has presented past research at the International Conference on Gender and Architecture and is a frequent contributing author for the AIA.
